Bioethics
The theme of next year’s Bioethics class is Gender and Bioethics. This includes topics such as trans and nonbinary health issues, lack of research around women’s healthcare, and so much more. If any of these sound interesting to you, don’t hesitate to sign up for the class!
Hackathon
A reminder that Hackathon is on Feb 26 from 8am-6pm! You will get the opportunity to hear from guest speakers such as a software engineer at Google and collaborate on a project with other students.
Courses Next Year
Music and Engineering will be offered as a class next year! Computer Science A or experience with object-oriented coding is a prerequisite.
Human rights and Human wrongs will be offered as a full year history course for seniors only! In this course, we will study the history of human rights from a number of different perspectives.
Intro to Cryptography will be offered as a class next year! In this course, we will study the algorithms behind encryptions that keep our data safe when making online transactions. Completing Math 2 and Intro to Computer Programming is necessary as a prerequisite.
Winter Track
We recently had Counties, in which all of our runners performed extremely well! We came second in the county with plenty of personal best times.
History Department
There is often an underlying political aspect to the Olympics. Throughout the years, the Olympics has been used as a platform for social protest and revolution. This can be driven by the actions of the government or the actions of the people.
