Athletic Association

We’re having a Cross Country send-off on Thursday! Meet by the bus loop at 1:20 to cheer on the XC team as they head to Counties.

Community Service Committee

The Thanksgiving Food Drive is starting up soon!! Items to donate are assigned by advisory, and bins to drop off donation items will be placed in grade lounges and around the Great Room. The drive will be from this Wednesday, October 19th to November 15. The grade with the most donations will get to pick a teacher to wear a turkey hat for an entire school day!

Green Key

Thank you to all Green Key members who volunteered at last weekend’s open house! There were over 303 attendees, and the event was a great success. Green Key members, look out for emails concerning upcoming tour schedules.

LGBT History Month

Over the last 20 years, there have been many developments made to LGBTQ+ rights. Let’s celebrate this progress and look towards an even better future!

Cross Country

Our team got second place at Shore Conference! We have Counties soon, so be sure to wish any XC team members you see good luck!

Science Olympiad

Starting this week, Science Olympiad will be meeting on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:45-5:15. Science Olympiad is a team STEM competition that is a great way to explore the areas of science and technology that you are interested in while collaborating with your peers and building lasting friendships! Our team competes in a wide range of events spanning all types of science from biology and chemistry to cryptography and aeronautics in a regional competition in the early spring. Team members are assigned to their preferred events early in the season and prepare during our practices. Please fill out the form linked here if you have any interest in joining our team at all, no previous experience is required!!

Dr. Galambos

We had a wonderful and busy weekend with amazing Varsity and JV Field Hockey games, Cabaret, and Open House! We also held our KPS Alum hall of fame induction on Saturday.

Ms. Murphy

Please pick up your personal belongings from the lounges outside of my office. No minors will be given out as long as you collect them promptly. We need parent chaperones for the Friday dance, so please encourage your parents to volunteer! Mid-trimester comments will be released Friday morning, so head to Advisory at 8:15 instead of coming to Morning Meeting. We need juniors and seniors to chaperone the upcoming Middle School dance- look out for an email if you’re interested!

Social Committee

The Upper School Halloween dance is this Friday, and there will be a competition for best costume!
